How Do Fish Swim

The method used by most fish to swim is to flap their bodies and tails in a sideways motion. On either side of the body of cartilaginous fish are two sets of paired fins. Above and below the mid line are plenty of single fins. These fish are not like bony fish and do not have a swim bladder filled with air to enable them to keep floating. Thus, they have to keep swimming or they will sink.
They may take short periods of rest, but are not able to go to sleep. Rays and skates stay near the bed of the sea and have flat bodies. Their enormous fins act like wings  and are used to keep themselves secure in the water as well as as for pushing themselves ahead in a forward motion.

Bony fish uses the muscles along their body to produce a side motion of the backbone in swimming. Fish push themselves sideways and backwards against the flow of water with the help of their tail and fins.

By rising and dipping it is able to steer itself and stop where required. Fins on the fishe's underside and back are used in steering in a fairly straight line and maintaining balance so that it does not wobble up and down or from one side to another.

Underwater creatures like the Eels have long fins on top and on the underside of their bodies and their movement resembles that of a snake. One of the curiosities of the water world is the flying fish. They can actually spread their front wing like fins, so that they can leap high, out of water as well as glide over it for many meters.

How To Feed Fish

Fish is the largest family of verbrates. There are around 25,000 varieties or types of fish. Their size ranges from extremely minute ten millimeters long jobs in the sixty one foot long whale sharks whose weight may go up to forty three tons. Fish can only live in water. Their habitat ranges from the ice cold water of the polar regions to swamps and lakes in tropical region.
They are cold blooded creatures. They use their gills for breathing. Most fish have streamlined shaped bodies so that swift movement in water is made possible. The tail fins maneuver them in water and help to push them forward. For steering purpose, other pairs of fins on either side of their body are used. These fins also help to keep them in a vertical position.

Feeding: Feeding fish is very simple, you can do it very easily. Just follow below, these steps and cautions, that will ensure you to well fish feed.

How Do Birds Fly

For birds to fly, it is simply not enough that they flap their wings. The angles of feathers on the wings are adjusted from time to time. Moreover, the entire wing has to be twisted in different directions.
When they flap their wings down, it is known as the down stroke. At this time, for no air to pass through their feathers, they deliberately overlap the feathers at the edges of the wings. Then the wings push against the wind. When they flap their wings up, it is known as the upstroke.
Here as they flap their wings up, they also twist their feather a apart to enable air to pass through them. Another motion simultaneously performed, that is the tips of their wings move in a circular movement. The bird is propelled through the air when the tips of its wings push it forward on the down stroke.

Information About Bees and How do They Handle Their life.

Insects are wonderful creatures, and bees are among the most interesting insects. They live and work together in a colony or hive. They must do this in order to stay alive, for bees need each other. And because they live and work together, and are able to help each other, they are called social creatures. Sometimes, there are as many as 60,000 bees living in a colony. Almost all the bees in the hive are called worker bees, for they do all the work of the hive. Other bees are called drones.
Drones do no work and there are not many of them. But the bee family could not get along without the drones. A drone is the father of the colony. All of the bees are either workers or drones, except one bee. This bee is the largest in the colony. She is the mother and is called the queen bee. A beehive is almost like a city, with every bee doing a certain kind of work. Some bees fly over finds, gathering food. They find their food. Including a sweet juice called nectar. Mainly in the flowers. The bees use the nectar to make honey, which is their main food. They also use the pollen from flowers. to make a different kind of food which we call beebread. Some of the worker bees are wax-makers. The wax which the wax-makers bees produce is used to make honeycombs in which the bees store their honey as well as their beebread. The honeycombs are also where the queen bee lays her eggs. Some bees are housekeepers who are also the scavengers of the hive. Then, there are the guards whose duty it is to make sure that no strangers enter the liver.
If a wasp or some other strange insect or a bee from another colony tries to enter the hive.the guard bees fight it and sting itself to death. These hundreds of worker bees must be supplied with fresh air while they are working in the hive. So. some of the bees move the air and bring in fresh air. But all of this work would be useless without the queen. The lays all the eggs. Without her, there would be no new bees to take the places of those that die. The hive would soon be empty. Because workers live only about six weeks. Does the way the bees divide up their work remind you of a community? In a city or a town. There are street cleaners, policemen, shopkeepers and many other kinds of workers. They help each other by doing different kinds of work. No one person does everything. But there is one very important difference between a bee community and a community of people. Men and woman plan the work of a community. They know they are helping each other and they know why they are helping each other. Bees do not think in the same way as we do. So.of course they cannot plan. They live together and help each other without knowing why they do so. They do not even know they are helping each other. One of the best examples of bees helping each other is the way a honey bee tells other honey bees where they can find food. A worker bee buzzes. By chance. Into a clump of flowers, especially rich in nectar.
It quickly returns to the hive and does a dance.wriggling its bode in patterns.Soon, others join the dance.Naturalists who have observed bees have understood the meaning of these patterns. They found that the speed of the turns that a bee makes shows the other bees the distance of the food from the hive. There is no end to what we can learn from the study of nature.Naturalists and scientists are people who ask questions endlessly. And out of their questions come their discoveries. But the more they find out,the more thereis to know. However, true scientists never gove up,and each day brings us more amazing discoverries about our wonderful world.
